CodeCue grew from a university incubation centre into a technology and digital products team — one project, one hire and one product at a time.
Our story
CodeCue started in 2018 as a small start-up incubated at the University of Haripur in Pakistan. We began by building websites, mobile apps and business software for clients who needed a reliable technical partner.
Over the years we worked directly with clients around the world, mostly in the US. As the work grew, we built an in-house team of more than 40 developers, designers, testers and project staff, working from CodeCue's own office next to the University of Haripur. Many of them came back with new projects, which taught us what matters most: clear communication, honest timelines and software that keeps working after launch.
As our clients' needs changed, so did our work. Businesses no longer just want an app or a website. They want to spend less time on repetitive tasks like answering the same customer questions, chasing leads, processing documents and updating systems by hand. That is why our focus today is AI agents and automation, built on top of the engineering experience we've gained since 2018.
In 2026, we set up CodeCue Technologies Ltd in London to work with UK businesses directly, with UK contracts and communication in UK working hours. We are new to the UK market, and we say so. What we bring is a proven way of working and a willingness to start with small, low-risk projects.

How we got here
2018
A start-up in a university incubation centre
CodeCue began in the Business Incubation Centre at the University of Haripur, Pakistan — a small team with the aim of serving small, medium and large businesses as well as emerging entrepreneurs.
2018–2019
First projects
Early work covered websites, small business systems and design projects. Every build taught the team something about scope, delivery and working with real business constraints.
2019–2020
An in-house team
Developers, designers and project people joined, which meant strategy, design, engineering and delivery could sit in one team rather than being handed between suppliers.
2020–2021
A broader portfolio
Web development, mobile app development, UI/UX design and custom software became core capabilities, across a range of industries.
2021–2022
Working across borders
The team began delivering for clients outside its home market, adapting to different time zones, standards and expectations.
2022–2023
Contributing to academia
Alongside client work, members of the team taught, mentored and gave students practical exposure to real software projects — one of the contributions we are most proud of.
2023–2024
From services to a technology company
The work shifted from individual projects towards longer-term products and platforms, and CodeCue became an established part of its local technology ecosystem.
2024–2025
Products and ventures
The team started building its own products alongside client work, applying the same engineering standards to ideas of its own.
